Gamshield has 4 main aims:-

• To reduce the effects and cost of fraud attempts on its members
• To create a preventative culture and framework for the fight against fraud
• To develop an industry code of best practise for fraud prevention methods
• To develop and promote 'fraud-free betting and gaming' standards

Membership of Gamshield is subject to agreement from the Association of British Bookmakers:

1. Full Membership is open to any Sports betting or Gaming business holding license issued by the following authorities
• United Kingdom
• Channel Islands
• Isle of Man
• Gibraltar


2. Affiliate membership is open to any company that provides support services to Sports betting or gaming companies, including but not limited to
• Merchant clearing services
• Payment Service Providers
• Fraud screening and security services
• Government, Police and security departments
• Industry standards bodies
• Other companies as nominated by a full member and agreed by a majority of full members.
